With love from Ukraine...

Our dream started in 2007 in the city of Chernivtsi, the smallest region of Ukraine. From a family business made up of brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, fathers and children, we grew, and by 2022 our team was 40-strong. We crafted original gifts and sold them on our website and in two small shops in our home city.   When the war started, gifts began to feel a little unimportant, but our team is our world and we needed to support them. In that moment, Krylato Family was born. Two sisters, our husbands and a child - Kira, Alexander, little Danila, Sasha and Vitaliy, moved in together in order to donate an apartment to those fleeing Kiev. One evening, in the midst or war, we decided to create something important, something that would show our foreign friends that Ukraine is about Freedom. We began creating illustrations that embodied Ukraine’s fight for this. The outstretched wings of the birds we draw symbolise this. They summarise our desire to be free, to create freely. We hope our message of freedom reaches you, we hope it makes us friends.
